Philippine Country Coordinating Mechanism

Activities

One of the core functions of the Philippine Country Coordinating Mechanism is to do oversight over the Principal Recipients for HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. The PCCM oversee the performance of PRs and grant implementation every three months through a systematic and strategic oversight process. Site Visits are conducted in areas with high LTFU (Loss to Follow Up) cases, high disease burden, need for follow-up visits, never been visited by PCCM and sites with low involvement of Key Affected Population. This is conducted to obtain first- hand information on the grant activities implemented in the sites, identify impediments and bottlenecks in implementing GF grants, recommend immediate solutions to mitigate existing challenges, and to look into the progress of Community Based Organization (CBO) engagement with LGU, PR, other CBOs & programs.

Objectives of the KAP consultation dialogues 1. Organization of support groups through identification of key leaders to represent high burdened areas.. 2. Re-orient KAPs on person-centered care 3.
